Nextis — Next Event on Google Home
Overview
Shows your next Google or Apple (iCloud) Calendar event in place of the Google logo on new tabs and the Google homepage.
See your next event first, every time you open a new tab. Nextis puts your next calendar event, large and simple, where the Google logo normally sits on new tabs and the Google homepage. You can tell what's next and how much time is left without opening your calendar. ■ Features • Works with Google Calendar and Apple (iCloud) Calendar — connect either one or both • With both connected, events are merged and the closest one is shown • Shows time remaining, like "Today · in 42 min" or "● Now · 25 min left" • "Join meeting" button for Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, and FaceTime links • New tab page with Google search and editable shortcuts (add, edit, delete) • Dark mode • Skips all-day, cancelled, and declined events ■ How to connect • Google Calendar: click the Nextis toolbar icon → "Connect" → allow with your Google account (read-only) • Apple Calendar: create an app-specific password at account.apple.com, then enter it with your Apple ID email ■ Privacy • Calendars are read-only; Nextis never creates or changes events • Events and your Apple app-specific password are stored only in your browser and are never sent to the developer • Calendar data is requested directly from Google (googleapis.com) and Apple (icloud.com) only
