Next Up: Web Page Monitor
Overview
Get alerted when a page has something new, like a chapter, episode or post. Runs in your browser; no servers or analytics.
Next Up watches web pages and RSS feeds. It alerts you when a new chapter, episode, post, or update is published. You do not need to refresh pages by hand. Check methods • Next number: After you read /chapter/166, it checks if /chapter/167 exists. • RSS/Atom feed: It looks in a feed for the keywords that you select. Example: a series title or "Episode". • Any change: It alerts you when the visible text of a page changes. • Custom script: Edit the script for sites that have no URL pattern. When a new item is found The row shows "New". Click the row to open the page. The row returns to normal until the next new item. Privacy and limits • All checks run in your browser. There are no servers, no analytics, and no account. • Chrome asks for access to a site only when you watch that site. • Checks run only when Chrome is open. • "Any change" and "Custom script" read server-rendered HTML only. They do not work on pages that JavaScript builds.
