Next Bus Away - Seattle Commute

Shows minutes until your next bus, morning and evening commute aware, using the OneBusAway api (Seattle / Puget Sound)

Shows how many minutes until your next bus, train, or streetcar arrives, right on the Chrome toolbar. Built for the Seattle / Puget Sound commute using real-time OneBusAway data. Set up your commute once: • Configure a morning trip (from home) and an evening trip (from work), each with its own stop and route. • The badge switches from the morning trip to the evening trip automatically at an hour you choose. What the badge tells you: • The number is minutes until the next arrival, refreshed every minute. • Green means on time, blue means running late, red means early, black means scheduled time only (no real-time prediction yet), NA means no upcoming arrival. Simple setup: • Enter your stop number (printed on the bus stop sign), click Load routes, and pick your route from a list. No route IDs to look up. • Works with King County Metro buses, Sound Transit express buses, Link light rail, Sounder trains, and the Seattle Streetcar. • For platforms served in both directions (like the streetcar), pick your destination and the badge only counts arrivals going your way.
