Overview

Your NexGate vault in the browser — autofill, password generation and one-time codes for the site you're on.

NexGate is a password and two-factor authentication (MFA/TOTP) manager that brings your vault into the browser. It recognizes the site you're on, offers to fill your saved username and password, generates strong random passwords for new signups, and can save new logins automatically after you sign in. For accounts with two-factor authentication enabled, NexGate generates live one-time codes and copies them to your clipboard so you can paste them in without switching apps. All passwords and MFA secrets are encrypted client-side with a vault passphrase before they ever reach the server — that passphrase is never stored, so only you can decrypt your data. Key features: Detects login and signup forms and offers inline autofill Generates strong, unique passwords on demand Stores and displays live TOTP one-time codes for MFA-enabled accounts Offers to save or update credentials automatically after sign-in Syncs with your NexGate vault so your data is available on the web app and in the browser NexGate requires an existing account at your organization's NexGate installation (e.g. gate.odoonex.app) and a vault passphrase to unlock your data. Category Productivity (Chrome Web Store doesn't have a dedicated "password manager" category; Productivity or Tools is the standard placement for this type of extension) Language English Official/homepage website URL https://gate.odoonex.com Support URL or support email I don't have this from your documentation — what email or help-center URL should I list here? Privacy policy URL This is required for any extension handling passwords/authentication data. I don't have a link to one in what you've shared — do you have a hosted privacy policy page (e.g. at gate.odoonex.com/privacy)? If not, this needs to be written and published somewhere before you can submit. Now for the Privacy practices / permissions justification tab, which the Store will also require since this extension handles passwords: Single purpose description NexGate lets users view, autofill, and manage passwords and MFA one-time codes stored in their NexGate vault, syncing with their account at gate.odoonex.app. Permission justifications — I need your actual manifest.json permissions list to get these exactly right (mismatched justifications are a common rejection reason). Based on the functionality described in your doc, here are drafts assuming these permissions — please confirm against your manifest before pasting: storage: "Used to store the user's session state and vault-unlock status locally in the browser." activeTab / scripting: "Used to detect login and signup forms on the current page so NexGate can offer autofill, password generation, and save prompts." host permission for gate.odoonex.app: "Required to authenticate the user and sync encrypted vault data (passwords and MFA secrets) with the user's NexGate account." clipboardWrite: "Used to copy one-time MFA codes and passwords to the clipboard when the user clicks copy, without displaying them on screen."
