Nexar Chess Commentator POV

Pushes the chess.com board you're viewing to the paired Nexar bridge so the on-air HUD follows your view.

Nexar Chess POV is a broadcast-production companion for the Nexar Chess Bridge. It pairs your browser with a producer's Nexar bridge so the on-air HUD automatically follows whichever chess.com board you're viewing. HOW IT WORKS • Open the popup, enter the 6-digit pairing code from the producer's Nexar bridge. • Navigate any board on a chess.com/events/* page. • The producer's bridge switches its active HUD to that game in under a second. WHAT THE EXTENSION SENDS Only the URL components of the chess.com event page you're viewing: the event slug, the round, and the two players' handle slug. Nothing else. WHAT IT DOES NOT SEND No clock, move, evaluation, or chat data — the bridge fetches all of that directly from chess.com. No personal data. No telemetry. No analytics. No third-party trackers. PERMISSIONS • Storage — to remember your 6-digit pairing code between sessions. • Host access to chess.com — required to detect URL changes on event pages. WHO IS THIS FOR This extension is only useful if you operate or work with the Nexar Chess Bridge, the companion broadcast app used by tournament producers. It does nothing on its own.
