newton is a new tab replacement tool. Based on minimalism, it will provide your new tab with a simple clock and a lovely background. The backgrounds are random and one of over 800 will be chosen. The extension is small and lightweight fulfilling all your needs in a new tab. For the more technically inclined, this code will be available free on GitHub. It is built using React.js and Babel. Love this and it loads immediately on my computer. I would like to know how to find out where these beautiful places are. Is there a way?

It's really pretty. But these images load sooo slowly, even though I havea pretty good connection. When you open a new tab the last thing you want to see is an image loading for 1 second

Hello Niklas! Thanks for checking out Newton. Well, the content delivery service is probably as best as it's going to be. Due to the large number of images, they cannot be stored locally, thus retrieved on every instance of a page render.
