News Side Panel

A fixed RSS news reader in Chrome's side panel. Preloaded with Indian news feeds.

Detailed description: News Side Panel keeps your news beside every tab. Click the toolbar icon and an RSS reader docks on the right side of Chrome, staying open while you switch tabs and work. • Preloaded with leading Indian news feeds — add, remove or turn off any of them • Add any site: paste a feed address or just the site's homepage and the feed is found automatically • Unread dots, unread counts per source and an "Unread only" filter • Stories grouped by Today, Yesterday and earlier days • Click a story to open it in a new tab; Ctrl/Cmd-click opens it in the background • Checks for new stories every 15, 30 or 60 minutes while the panel is open • Import and export your feed list as OPML • Light and dark themes follow your system setting Private by design: no account, no ads, no analytics. Your feeds and reading history stay in your browser. The extension only contacts the feed sites you choose.
