Overview

Spot new AI product and model names the day they first appear, score them with AI, and see which ones take off.

New Term Radar finds new AI product and model names the day they first show up, so you can research, write about or build around them before everyone else does. One click scans the places where new AI tools surface first: product launch sites, trending model hubs, fast-growing code repositories, rising search trends, and the social accounts and communities you choose to follow. You pick which sources are included in the settings. WHAT YOU GET • New terms: every name that appeared for the first time, with the posts and links that mentioned it • AI scoring: your own AI model rates how likely each term is a real product name, so noise goes to the bottom • Search: type any name or topic and see related posts, a search-interest chart and a short AI summary on one page • Review: 14 days later, Radar checks search interest again to show which terms actually took off and how many days early you saw them • Automatic scans (off by default): run at the times you pick; get a notification when a scan finishes • Export to Markdown or CSV PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no server, no tracking. Everything is stored in your browser. • Reads pages with your own browser sessions, so no paid data API is needed. • Uses your own OpenAI-compatible AI key. Without a key it still works, just without AI scores and summaries. HOW IT READS PAGES Some sources are opened in one background tab inside a collapsed "Radar" tab group. While a scan runs, Chrome shows a "started debugging this browser" bar: the extension uses the debugger permission only to read that tab's network responses. The tab, the group and the bar disappear when the scan ends. Click Cancel on the bar to stop a scan. Good for indie makers, content writers, newsletter authors and anyone who wants to spot new AI tools early.
