New Tab Spaces
Overview
Replaces the Chrome new tab page with a custom environment.
This extension only customizes the New Tab page (chrome://newtab). It >DOES NOT< modify your default search engine or startup settings!!! Instead of keeping all your bookmarks in one crowded place, you can organize them into elegant Spaces: visual groups for work, study, reading, tools, daily use and anything else that fits your routine. Each new tab becomes your own launch surface, with quick access to the links that matter most. What you can do: - Create multiple Spaces for different parts of your life - Add, edit, remove and reorder links inside each Space - Reorder Spaces on the page - Search the web directly from the new tab - Show site favicons for faster scanning - Choose from built-in wallpapers or use your own custom wallpaper - Adjust tint color, wallpaper overlay, search visibility and global item size - Show or hide item count badges - Keep everything saved locally so your setup stays available across browser restarts Why New Tab Spaces? - New Tab Spaces is built for people who want more than a blank tab or a generic bookmark page. It is made to feel intentional, lightweight and polished, with a soft visual style inspired by clean desktop organization. The goal is simple: make opening a new tab feel useful and enjoyable. Privacy: - Your Spaces, links and preferences are stored locally in your browser. The extension does not require an account.
