Thanks It works, I saw people complaining that it does not work. But the Developer himself responding that the problem is resolved now gave confidence. Tried and it works perfectly.

It has stopped working on Chrome, but not on Brave for some reason. Any clarity on what we can expect going forward? Downgraded to version 132 using https://github.com/nkh-lab/downgrade-chrome and it is working again.
I did some experiments and it seems like it's specifically Chrome 133 on Linux that doesn't work. Windows is fine and Chrome 132 on Linux works too. From my testing it looks like there is a problem with the Widevine DRM in Chrome 133, so it's possible that this is a bug that Google will fix in future versions (previously Netflix would play in 720p without the extension, but right now it's always 540p, which seems like a bug to me). Otherwise I'm gonna keep trying to work around it, but it's sadly very possible that this is not fixable, since extensions can't change anything about the closed DRM module that Chrome uses. Edit: Chrome has released an update and it's fixed now.

chrome after this version 133.0.6943.53 It's not working
I looks like Netflix is not handing out the proper license files anymore. I hope that this is just a temporary problem, otherwise this extension might be done for good. Edit: This was actually an issue with Chrome and the latest update has fixed it.

I tried numerous titles and cannot get 5.1 audio to work. Oddly, if I hover over a title the preview plays in 5.1, but clicking and viewing it it's back to 2.0 (two examples: Dune, Interstellar)

Tried this with a Netflix original, but it did not stop the downsampling.

Please make an extension for Disney+! The same thing happens too. I can't watch FHD content on a computer and I have a very good one with 300 symmetrical megabytes of broadband.

Actually works. I checked the resolution with it on and off, using ctrl+shift+alt+D, and it does what it says.
