Overview

Early version. A clearer font, softer colours, comfortable lines and a reading ruler for any website. Runs on your device.

Early development, beta-deployment, work still in progress. Tell us what works/breaks: neuro.reddy.world/support Busy web pages, made calm and readable. NeuroOverlay gives any page a clearer font, softer colours and comfortable lines, and fades the clutter. Made for ADHD, and for anyone who finds busy pages tiring. WHAT IT DOES • Clearer font: Atkinson Hyperlegible, made by the Braille Institute so letters like I, l and 1 are easy to tell apart. Also Lexend Deca and OpenDyslexic. • Softer colours: three soft dark themes and a paper-like light theme. • Comfortable lines: you choose the line length and spacing. • Less clutter: sidebars and ad banners fade, as much as you like. • Reading ruler: a band follows your pointer to keep your place. • Wait timers: 30 seconds, 1 or 2 minutes, then a notification, so a short wait doesn't become a detour. • Page score: a quick check of how readable a page is. • Fine-tune next to the page: a side panel with every setting, where the page changes as you move a slider. • Work mode (early version): Alt+Shift+W turns the page into a quiet reading view. A dial sets how much you see, from the gist to the full text. One click switches it off for a site. Sites you switch off are left alone. PRIVATE Page content, history and settings stay on your device. No ads, trackers or analytics. A reading-comfort tool, not a medical device.
