Network Exporter adds a focused panel to Chrome DevTools for copying only the network requests and fields you need. Instead of exporting a full HAR file or copying one request at a time, select a small set of requests, choose the fields you want, and copy clean JSON or Markdown directly to your clipboard. Key features: - DevTools panel for local network inspection - Capture starts automatically when DevTools opens - Preserve log option for keeping requests across reloads, redirects, and navigations - Multi-select request table with "select all visible" - Request detail tabs for Headers, Payload, Response, and Meta - Filters for URL text, method, status, domain, MIME type, and resource type - Advanced query syntax (url:, method:, status:, domain:, type:, mime:) - Error filtering for 4xx, 5xx, and failed requests - Distinct row highlighting and counts for client errors, server errors, and failed requests - Default exclusion for noisy browser-extension requests - Field-level export controls with Defaults and Full presets - Copy selected requests as JSON or Markdown - Copy feedback shows payload size and an estimated token count, color-coded by context budget so you can see whether the export fits your model - Sensitive headers excluded by default (Authorization, Cookie, Set-Cookie, X-API-Key, X-CSRF-Token, and more) - Large response/request bodies auto-truncated at 256 kB with a visible marker (toggleable) - Binary responses exported as placeholders, not mojibake - Responsive layout for narrow DevTools windows - UI available in English, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, German, and French — follows your browser language automatically Network Exporter is designed for debugging API workflows, preparing bug reports, sharing focused request examples, and pasting compact context into LLMs and development tools. Privacy and security: - No remote servers - No analytics - No background traffic capture - No host permissions - No debugger permission - Network data is processed locally inside the DevTools panel - Data is copied only when you select requests and click a copy button This extension requires only the "clipboardWrite" permission to copy exports. No other permissions are requested.
