)Overview
Custom DevTools Network panel: cleaner URLs, smart filters, JSON search, side-by-side diff, mocks, delays, WS frame send.
Network+ is a custom DevTools Network panel for developers who feel the built-in one is cramped. It runs alongside the standard panel — you switch to "Network+" inside DevTools and get: — CLEAN URL COLUMN Strip the page origin and your own per-type prefixes (separated by spaces) so the URL column shows only the part you care about. — SMART FILTERS Filter by type, by HTTP method (click the letter in the row), by URL substring, or by a specific id — click any colored id token in a URL to isolate that id's requests, click again to clear. Alt+click a method/type to exclude it. Group identical requests with a "×N" badge and group-hover. — JSON-AWARE EVERYTHING Response, Payload and WebSocket frames are rendered as a real collapsible JSON tree with full-text search (▲/▼ navigation, hide- non-matches mode, ← to refocus the search input). Double-click any key or value to copy its full JSON path; normal copy works even on collapsed nodes. — SIDE-BY-SIDE DIFF Ctrl/Cmd+click any row to compare it with the previously selected one. Two diff modes: line diff and semantic JSON diff. Swap sides with one click. — ON-PAGE OVERLAY Request details render as a draggable, resizable overlay on the inspected page itself — your request list stays at full width. Sections (Headers / Payload / Response / Timing / WS frames) can be reordered by drag. — MARKS & PINS Drop a timestamped, editable text marker on the timeline (M key or context menu) to annotate what you just did; pin any row to the top of the list so it stays visible while you keep working below. — WEBSOCKETS DONE RIGHT Each frame on its own line with auto-detect of JSON payload, the same JSON tree + search inside. Heartbeats hidden by one toggle. Send arbitrary WS frames into a live connection from the panel, save reusable templates that survive DevTools restarts. Mock incoming server frames too: rewrite their data, drop them, or inject a synthetic frame into a live connection on demand. — MOCKS WITH ERROR SUPPORT Intercept fetch / XHR with synthetic responses, including 4xx/5xx with custom body and headers. Rewrite the outgoing request itself (URL / method / headers / payload) independently of mocking its response — combine both in one rule (shown as an "MR" badge). "Mock from response" creates a rule in one click from any captured response. Editor with Beautify / Compact for JSON bodies. — RESPONSE DELAY Delay future requests for selected URLs by N ms; clock badge in the row + accurate time accounting. — PERSISTS BETWEEN SESSIONS Filters, prefixes, mocks, delays, WS templates and UI preferences are saved per-profile and survive DevTools restart. — UI YOU CAN TUNE Alt+= / Alt+− / Alt+0 to scale the font. Alt+H opens a bilingual (English / Russian) quick-help overlay; the book icon next to it opens a full illustrated guide in a new tab, in the same language. NO BACKEND. NO BUILD STEP. NO TRACKING. All logic runs in your browser. The extension does not transmit any captured data anywhere.
