Netflix PiP Fixer
Overview
Automatically keeps native picture-in-picture available on Netflix. Works with Chrome media controls and existing PiP shortcuts.
Netflix PiP Fixer keeps native picture-in-picture available on Netflix by automatically removing the video flag that blocks it. Install the extension and reload Netflix. Play a video, then open picture-in-picture using Chrome’s media controls or your existing PiP extension and its configured shortcut. The extension handles newly added videos, player replacement, and repeated changes to the blocking flag. It does not start playback, open PiP automatically, or add a keyboard shortcut. Runs only on https://www.netflix.com/*. No analytics, data collection, storage, network requests, or runtime dependencies. Netflix’s page-rendered subtitles may not appear in native PiP. Browser restrictions and future Netflix changes may affect compatibility. Free and open source under the MIT license.
