Netflix CC Remover

For now this extension seems to disable some essential top row UI elements like "Movies" , "Series" etc.

Worked great for quite a while, suddenly stopped working recently for some reason.

Alright, so here's the deal. It was all good at the start, but now? Not so much. These updates are like waiting for paint to dry, seriously. So, I've gotta knock my rating down to 2 stars. I'm giving it that extra star because, hey, it did work at one point. But I'm shaving off three for these snail-paced updates. If things don't pick up soon, I might have to drop it to a single star. But if they get their act together and it starts working again, I could see myself bumping it back up to 4. J... Show more

Working like a charm

Toggling doesn't work. It removes CC but I don't have an option to disable it?

A lifesaver extension! I really don't get why Netflix doesn't offer non-CC English subtitles to begin with... The only problem I encountered is that it sometimes reset the preferences (I often have to turn off multi-line filtering, which more often than not causes issues of disappearing parts of subtitles).

This was one of my favourite extensions and always worked great! But now a few weeks ago it just stopped working and I can't find anything similar

Finally no more "[suspenseful music]". And I still have the option for lyrics to music.

This extension makes Netflix so much better. No more annoying CC's :)

Those closed captions were slowly driving me crazy, so thanks a bunch for this.
