Nesktop new tab workspace, page saver, and optional browser data integration.

By default, the NESKTOP extension directs your new tab to nesktop.com. If you prefer, you can easily set any website as your new tab and continue using the NESKTOP extension. NESKTOP replaces your browser's new tab page with a visual internet workspace. Save the current page, save all open tabs to a folder, organize bookmarks into folders, and customize your desktop with notes, widgets, and multi-page layouts — all synced with nesktop.com when you choose to sign in. What NESKTOP does: - Opens a clean visual canvas on every new tab - Saves the current page to your workspace with one click - Saves all open tabs (current window or all windows) to a selected folder, with safe filtering, chunking, and duplicate reporting - Requires you to select a folder or choose "Unorganized" before saving — nothing is saved without a destination - Organizes bookmarks into folders with drag-and-drop - Adds notes and widgets to your desktop - Supports multiple customizable page layouts - Optionally displays Top Sites after you grant permission (never automatic) - One-time-code pairing for account linking — no passwords handled by the extension Privacy-first design: - Browser data is never uploaded automatically - Bookmarks, Top Sites, and open-tabs access are optional and require your explicit permission — none are requested at install - A built-in Permission Dashboard shows Granted / Not granted state for each optional permission, with Enable and Revoke actions - Open-tab titles and URLs are read only after you click "Save open tabs" and grant optional tab access; nothing is saved until you confirm a destination - Only reads the active tab URL/title after you click Save Page - The extension does not contain analytics, ad tracking, or third-party trackers - When you visit nesktop.com pages, the website's own optional analytics are governed by the website consent banner — this is separate from the extension Support: https://nesktop.com/support Privacy Policy: https://nesktop.com/legal/extension-privacy Homepage: https://nesktop.com
