It reduces YouTube's addictiveness by: 🎨 Applying grayscale to drain the visual stimulation 🎞️ Lowering video FPS to reduce smooth, hypnotic motion 🧠 Making mindless browsing less appealing while keeping educational content fully usable This extension was built to address a personal pattern of spending way more time than intended on YouTube. Unlike other platforms, YouTube offers high-quality educational content, so a simple timer that blocks the site after some time wouldn't be the right fit. The platform also serves as a background music source, where a timer would be useless. The extension is fully open source, contributions are welcome 🤗
