Select any text on a page, right click, and choose Nerdulate. A side panel opens with everything that can be worked out from what you selected. Not a search. Not a lookup. Not a guess. WHAT IT RECOGNISES Numbers, dates, times and ISO 8601 timestamps, measurements and unit conversions, colours in any notation, fractions, IP addresses and CIDR blocks, UUIDs, JSON Web Tokens, semantic versions, MAC addresses, cron expressions, hashes, chemical formulae and equations, language tags, matrices, musical scales and chords, dice notation, playing cards, chess squares, and quite a lot more. Twenty-two engines in total. You never have to say which one you want: paste something and it works out what it could be. THREE READINGS OF 1066 Select "1066" and you get all three, because all three are true. It is the number 1,066, with its factors, its bases and its bit pattern. It is the year 1066, which began on a Monday. It is also a colour. Nothing here picks one and throws the others away, because a parser cannot know which you meant. That is the whole idea. Where an input genuinely has several readings, you get several readings. FOLLOW THE TRAIL Every value that points at another object is a link. The square of a number, the network an address belongs to, the elements in a formula, the next version after this one. Click it and you are inspecting that instead, with its own facts and its own links. Back returns you. NO AI. NOT "MOSTLY NO AI" Nothing here is generated by a model, and nothing ever will be. Recognition is regular expressions and lookup tables. Answers are arithmetic. The same input returns the same answer today, next year and in ten years, and every figure can be checked against the method that produced it. That is also why it says "not recognised" when it does not know. A confident wrong answer is worse than no answer. WHAT IT ASKS FOR Three permissions: the right-click menu, the side panel, and storage. No access to your browsing history, no access to page content, no account, no sign-in, no cookies, no tracking. The text you select is sent to nerdulator.com to be inspected, exactly as if you had typed it into the search box there. Nothing else on the page is read, and the extension holds no permission that would let it read one. Selections are kept in session storage only and are gone when you close Chrome. The site records which kinds of thing were recognised and how many bytes you sent, and does not store the text.
