Choose a starting point, adjust the details, and keep your preferences in your own browser. YOUR FEED, YOUR MOOD Choose Balanced, Focus, or Minimal. Keep the conversations you came for and choose which distractions to hide. Customize any preset without losing your saved filters or appearance preferences. A CALMER TIMELINE Prefer Following when you open Home. Filter reposts and promoted posts. Hide trending topics, follow suggestions, Grok navigation, Premium links, Explore navigation, engagement counts, or the right sidebar. LET SOME THINGS PASS YOU BY Filter posts by literal words and phrases or exact author handles. Choose quiet placeholders with an explanation and a Reveal post button, or hide matches entirely. These filters work locally; they do not mute or block accounts on X. A SPACE THAT FEELS LIKE YOU Choose Original, Light, Dim, or Midnight for the main feed. Adjust text size, timeline width, and post spacing. The control panel includes an illustrative feed preview so you can explore your choices. YOURS TO KEEP Settings save automatically. Pause and resume from the toolbar popup, switch presets, search for a setting, and export or import your setup as a JSON file. ON YOUR DEVICE. ON YOUR TERMS. Neo reads visible post text, author handles, and the current X/Twitter page route to apply your choices locally. Your settings and filters are stored in this browser. Neo does not send this information to the developer or external servers, use analytics, or load remote code. An exported backup includes your preferences and filters; keep it private if those filters are sensitive. Neo works on the desktop X/Twitter website. Some detection currently uses English labels. X changes its interface regularly, so individual controls may need updates. Feed themes cover the main timeline and navigation; not every embedded item or dialog is restyled.
