⚔️ NeetCode Versus Companion is a free Chrome extension for NeetCode Versus, the 1v1 coding battle on neetcode.io where you race another developer on a real LeetCode-style interview problem. Queue with one key, get pulled back the instant an opponent is found, see your win chance before you write a line of code, and watch your rank move the moment the match ends. No more staring at the queue and no more typing opponent names: it reads everything straight from the match screen. 🔔 NEVER MISS A MATCH • Instant match-found alert: a sound, a desktop notification, and your match tab jumps to the front, even when Chrome is minimized or you're buried in another tab. • Practicing another NeetCode problem while you wait? You're alerted the moment your match is ready, and clicking the notification takes you straight into it. • Press Alt+M anywhere in Chrome to find a match. It reuses your Versus lobby or opens one, and never navigates away from a live match or code you're working on. • Optional auto-queue starts a new search 6 seconds after each result (cancellable). 🎯 AUTOMATIC OPPONENT SCOUTING • The scouting card fills itself in: your name, your opponent's, and both ranks. Nothing to type. • Win probability for every match, estimated from both players' NeetCode ratings with TrueSkill-style math, with a verdict from "Long shot" to "Heavy favorite". • Tale of the tape: rating, win rate, ranked games, problems solved at this match's difficulty, and total solved. • Edges worth knowing: revenge matches, your head-to-head record, and ratings that are still calibrating. • Folds into a small pill once the race starts, clear of the Submit button. Drag it anywhere. 📈 SEE YOUR RANK MOVE • After every match: Victory or Defeat, your rating change (+1 / −1), "was Gold 21 → Diamond 22", and a progress bar toward the next tier. • Promotion and demotion banners, confirmed against your public NeetCode profile so the number matches what NeetCode shows. • Upset wins called out, win streaks, and today's running record and net rating. 📊 YOUR VERSUS DASHBOARD • Rank card: tier, rating, points to the next tier, global rank, and rated matches left today. • Recent matches with your opponent's rank, the problem, difficulty, match time and rating change. Install, then open neetcode.io/versus (refresh any NeetCode tab that was already open). 2. Press Alt+M, or click "Find a random match" on NeetCode. 3. Go do anything else. You'll be pulled back when your opponent is found. Tips: open the Versus lobby once a day to keep your global rank and daily match count exact.
