)Overview
Подключение к вашему US-экзиту: вручную или одним токеном, kill switch от утечки IP и правила по доменам.
Nebula Network connects your browser to an exit node that belongs to your own organization. This is not a public VPN service. The extension ships with no shared servers and offers none: it connects only to the node your administrator gave you access to. Without an access token or credentials, it connects nowhere. WHY IT EXISTS A conventional VPN routes everything through one tunnel and noticeably cuts your speed, which makes heavy work dashboards sluggish. Nebula Network splits the traffic instead: only the sites that actually need the exit node go through it, while everything else goes direct at full line speed. HOW TO CONNECT There are two ways in, and both fit in a single window. Using a token — paste the token you were given into the "Password / Token" field. You can leave the rest blank: the server fills in the address, port and credentials for you. Manually — enter the server, port, username and password, exactly as you would for any proxy. The large circle in the middle of the window is the on/off switch. Once you press it, the extension connects and verifies the connection on its own: a green indicator and the external IP shown below it mean everything works. If something is wrong, you get the specific reason — invalid token, device limit reached, no active exit point, or the proxy is not responding. TRAFFIC MODES All traffic — the entire browser works through the exit node. By domain — only the domains you list go through the node, everything else goes direct. You can paste full links: the extension extracts the domains itself, one rule per line. Change the token, the mode or the domain list while connected and an "Apply" button appears; press it and the tunnel restarts. IP LEAK PROTECTION (KILL SWITCH) While the connection is up, the extension watches the state of the exit node. If the link drops or the token is revoked, browser internet access is blocked entirely, so your real IP address cannot leak at the moment of the failure. The indicator turns red and the button offers to deliberately unblock the internet and continue without the tunnel. When the node becomes reachable again, the connection is restored automatically. If the exit point has changed in the meantime, the extension picks up the new one by itself. ON-PAGE INDICATOR A compact badge in the top right corner of pages shows the current state and the external IP, so you do not have to open the extension window just to check. It can be dismissed on any given page. WHAT YOU NEED A valid token or the credentials of your exit node. The extension is built for organizations that run their own exit node and hand out access to their staff. WHY THESE PERMISSIONS ARE REQUESTED Proxy control — the core function: configuring the browser to connect through your node. Site access — so domain rules apply across all tabs and the status indicator can be displayed. Request authentication — so the proxy username and password are supplied automatically, without a native password dialog on every request. Storage — so your settings are kept locally in the browser. Periodic tasks — a regular check that the node is alive, which is what the IP leak protection relies on. DATA Your settings and credentials are stored locally in your browser and are never uploaded. The extension makes network requests in two cases only: to your own server, to validate the token and check the state of the node, and to a public IP lookup service (ipwho.is), to show you which external IP address you received after connecting. Browsing history is not collected and not transmitted. There is no advertising and no analytics in this extension.
