)Overview
Live race countdown to the next Grand Prix on your toolbar, the race weekend schedule in your time zone, start lights and alerts.
🏁 F1 Countdown puts the next session of the race weekend on your toolbar. The badge shows how long is left, and one click opens a ticking f1 countdown clock with the whole weekend in your own time zone. 🚀 Quick start in three steps 1️⃣ Add F1 Countdown and pin it to the toolbar. 2️⃣ Read the badge: days, then hours, then minutes, then LIVE. 3️⃣ Click the icon for the f1 countdown timer and the full race weekend schedule. ⏱️ What the popup shows ➤ The Grand Prix, the circuit and the city, with a race countdown in days, hours, minutes and seconds. ➤ The start date and time of the next session, in your time zone, on a 12h or 24h clock. ➤ The f1 weekend schedule: practice, sprint qualifying, sprint, qualifying and the main event, each marked Done, Next or Live. ➤ The next grand prix after this one, with its date. 🚦 Start sequence, like on the grid ▸ Five f1 countdown lights stay dark until the final hour. ▸ From an hour out they come on one by one, every ten minutes. ▸ All five glow for the last 20 minutes. ▸ Then it is lights out: the popup switches to LIVE and estimates the time left. 📍 An f1 countdown widget on your toolbar • Days while the start is more than two days away, then hours, like 30h. • Minutes in the final hour, in red. • LIVE in red while a session runs. • The tooltip names the session, the Grand Prix and the exact time left. ⚙️ Choose what the badge counts down to - Every session of the weekend. - Qualifying, sprints and the race. - Only the Grand Prix itself, for a pure f1 race countdown. - Nothing at all, if you only want the popup. 🔔 Notifications before the lights go out 💡 Alerts are off until you turn them on in settings and allow notifications once. 💡 Pick 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes before every session, the main ones, or the Sunday one only. 💡 A laptop that wakes up late still gets the alert, but never after the session has begun. 📅 A grand prix schedule that keeps itself current 1. The f1 schedule 2026 is downloaded at install and refreshed every few hours, so moved sessions show up on their own. 2. A session whose time is not announced yet shows TBC. 3. A built-in copy of the season keeps the countdown working offline. 4. When the season ends, the f1 2027 calendar takes over as soon as it is published. 🏎️ Made for the whole F1 2026 season ◆ Sprint weekends get a Sprint tag and the extra sessions. ◆ The f1 calendar 2026 has 23 rounds, and each one comes to the popup when its weekend is near. ◆ After the final round the popup says Season complete until the new dates are out. ◆ It sits happily next to any motorsport schedule you already follow. 🌍 Built for fans in any time zone ◇ Night sessions on the other side of the world show up as your local morning or evening. ◇ Travel with your laptop, and the f1 countdown timer follows the clock of your computer. ◇ Daylight saving changes are handled for you, so a start never shifts by an hour by mistake. 📰 Recaps from GridRival 🔸 Under the schedule, a card shows the latest article from GridRival, a fantasy motorsport game that covers every real Grand Prix. 🔸 For four days after a Grand Prix the card moves up under the countdown and adds a short summary. 🔸 One click opens the article in a new tab. 🎨 Look and settings ✔️ A dark race-control look, or light, or following your browser. ✔️ Clock in 12h, 24h or your locale's format. ✔️ Badge mode and alerts, all in one small settings panel of F1 Countdown. 🔒 Private by design 🔹 No account, no sign-up and no analytics. 🔹 The calendar and the article come from public feeds; the requests carry nothing about you. 🔹 The only extra permission, notifications, is asked for when you turn alerts on. ❓ Questions and answers 📌 When is the next F1 race? 💡 Click the icon. The f1 countdown shows the coming session, and the line below it names the next grand prix and its date. 📌 Is the f1 race schedule 2026 shown in my local time? 💡 Yes. The f1 countdown clock and every session in the popup follow your own zone, so there is no maths before qualifying. 📌 Does it cover sprint weekends? 💡 Yes. The 2026 F1 schedule is built in, and the race weekend schedule lists sprint qualifying and the short Saturday race in order. 📌 Is this an official app? 💡 No. It is an unofficial Formula 1 countdown, not affiliated with Formula 1 or the FIA. ✅ F1 Countdown is a small, honest f1 countdown clock for fans who never want to miss a start. Add it, pin it, and the next session is always one glance away.
