Capture a whole page as one image at your screen's full resolution. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is downscaled.

Foldout screenshots the whole page, not just the part you can see. You click the toolbar icon, it scrolls for you, grabs each screenful and stitches it into one image you can save or copy. It captures at whatever pixel density your display actually has, so a Retina screen gets you a Retina image, nothing gets shrunk to fit. And when a page is way too tall for Chrome to hold in one image it splits it into a few full-res pieces that line up edge to edge, instead of blurring the whole thing to squeeze it in. Sticky headers don't get stamped across every screenful, your nav bar turns up once at the top like it should. Lazy-loaded images get a second to actually arrive before the shot. While it's running there's a little panel on the page telling you what it's doing, and Escape stops it. Your own scrolling is held still so a stray trackpad swipe can't wreck the capture, and everything goes back exactly how it was when it's done. Nothing leaves your computer. No account, no server, no analytics, no upgrade prompt. It asks for two permissions and zero host permissions, which means it has no standing access to any site at all, it can only read the one tab you point it at, only at the moment you click, and there's no network code in it anywhere. Chrome won't let any extension run on its own pages, so chrome:// pages, the Web Store and the built-in PDF viewer can't be captured. If you try it and something feels off I'd love to know 🙃
