Meeting Record AI FREE captures the audio of a browser tab that plays sound, transcribes it, and turns the transcript into meeting minutes with AI, following a template you pick. • Free extension. No sign-up. No developer server — nothing is sent to us. • You use your own AI API key (Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic) for the minutes / summary steps. A Gemini free-tier key is enough. API usage is billed by that provider, not by us. The "Raw transcript" output needs no key. • On-device speech recognition by default (Chrome's built-in engine); audio never leaves your computer unless you switch to a cloud speech engine. • 9 interface languages (English, Tiếng Việt, 中文, Español, Français, Deutsch, 日本語, 한국어, Português). The document is written in the language you choose. • 9 built-in minutes templates (standard layouts, one per interface language), or upload your own .md / .txt / .docx. • Output as .docx, .md or .txt. Also: short summary, opinions by person, action items, or the raw transcript. Requires Chrome 116+. The fully on-device speech engine needs Chrome 139+; on older Chrome, transcription uses a cloud speech engine, which also needs your own API key. You are responsible for complying with recording-consent laws where you are.
