Design and print custom labels—without an account, subscription, or complicated setup. SimplyLabel Studio is a free, offline label editor for Chrome. Create product labels, ingredient lists, storage labels, price tags, QR labels, and more in a flexible visual workspace. Start with a blank label, set your dimensions, and build your design with text, images, shapes, dates, QR codes, and barcodes. Save reusable layouts and print through your computer’s installed printer. DESIGN YOUR WAY • Set custom label width and height in inches. • Add text, images, rectangles, ellipses, and lines. • Move and resize objects directly on the label. • Double-click text to edit it in place. • Adjust fonts, sizes, colors, styles, and alignment. • Hold Shift while resizing to preserve proportions. • Preview rounded label corners to match your label stock. PRECISE PLACEMENT AND LAYERS • Align objects using center guides and gentle snapping to the canvas or nearby objects. • Drag to select multiple objects and move them together. • Organize designs with layer ordering, visibility, and locking. • Fine-tune object positions and dimensions in Properties. • Undo and redo changes as you work. • Pinch to zoom on a trackpad, use Shift + mouse wheel, or choose a zoom level from the toolbar. QR CODES AND BARCODES Create QR codes from text or URLs and CODE 128 barcodes from printable ASCII content. Edit the content and click Apply to update your code. QR codes retain their square proportions when resized. Barcodes offer an optional readable-text caption. Print-size warnings help identify codes that may be too small for reliable printing. Codes are generated locally—no external QR service or account is required. Always test scanning a printed label before producing a batch. FLEXIBLE DATE FIELDS • Insert today’s date or choose a custom date. • Add or subtract days, months, or years. • Choose from several date formats. • Keep dates fixed, refresh them when loading a preset, or update them before printing. Use date fields for packing dates, preparation dates, reminders, and other date-based labels. SAVE AND REUSE YOUR WORK Your current draft is saved locally in your Chrome profile. Save reusable presets for layouts you print regularly. Download editable project files, reopen them later, and export or import preset backups to move layouts between computers or keep a separate copy. PRINT AT YOUR LABEL’S ACTUAL SIZE Text, shapes, QR codes, and barcodes print as vector content. Imported logos and photos remain images. Choose the number of labels in the app and print through Chrome’s native print dialog. Use matching paper dimensions and 100% scale, and print one test label before starting a batch. SimplyLabel Studio uses printers and drivers already installed on your computer. Available paper sizes, margins, and print quality depend on your printer and driver. It does not install printer drivers. LOCAL AND OFFLINE • No account required. • No subscription. • Label editing and code generation work offline. • Designs are stored locally, without automatic cloud uploads or cross-device syncing. • No advertising or usage analytics in the extension. Keep project files and preset backups for important work. Clearing extension data or uninstalling the extension can remove locally saved drafts and presets.
