)Overview
Compare battery and solar module datasheet PDFs in one table, in one set of units. PDFs are read on your computer.
Spec Sheet Normaliser turns datasheet PDFs into one comparison table. Drop two to ten datasheets, or click "Add PDF from this tab" while reading one. The tool reads each PDF in your browser and lines up the specifications as rows: energy, power, voltage, efficiency, cycle life, temperature range, dimensions, weight, warranty and certifications for battery storage; Pmax, Voc, Isc, Vmp, Imp, efficiency, temperature coefficients, mechanical data, warranty and degradation for solar modules, with one column per power class. It recognises that "usable energy", "available capacity" and "nominal capacity" are the same field, and converts Wh, kWh and MWh, W and kW, lb and kg, °F and °C. Hover any value to see the exact datasheet text it came from. If a sheet uses a label the tool does not know, click "teach" on the blank cell and type the label once; it is remembered for every future sheet and can be exported to share with colleagues. "Copy table" copies the comparison as one block that pastes straight into Google Sheets or Excel. Privacy: PDFs are read in your browser and never uploaded. There is no server, no analytics and no tracking. The extension asks for access to a site only when you click "Add PDF from this tab" on a page that does not allow reading with Chrome's one-click access. Free during beta. Values are found by pattern matching, so check anything you rely on against the sheet.
