Overview
Captures privacy-aware browser interaction metadata for Fraime.it recordings.
Fraime.it Browser Telemetry gives the Fraime.it screen-recording app the context it needs to automatically edit your browser recordings. While you record, the extension observes lightweight interaction metadata — clicks, focus changes, text input, selections, scrolling, route changes, and page loads — and streams it to the Fraime.it app running on your own machine. Fraime.it uses this signal to drive smarter auto-zoom, cleaner cuts, highlights, and cursor emphasis, so your demos and tutorials look polished without manual editing. Private by design Data is sent only to the Fraime.it desktop app on your own computer (localhost, 127.0.0.1:49153). Nothing is sent to Fraime.it servers or any third party by this extension. It captures structure and interaction metadata — element roles, normalized positions, and coarse state — not the contents of what you type. Privacy filtering runs in the extension before any event leaves the page. It only does anything useful while the Fraime.it app is running and listening; otherwise it sits idle. How it works Install the extension. Open the Fraime.it app (the toolbar icon turns from grey to colored once it connects to the local bridge). Record a browser session — Fraime.it enriches the recording automatically. The toolbar icon reflects connection status: grey when the local Fraime.it bridge is unavailable, colored when browser telemetry is connected. Fraime.it Browser Telemetry is a companion to the Fraime.it desktop app and has no standalone functionality.
