Overview
Share any browser tab live with your audience as real text and layout, not a video stream.
Present Tense sends your live browser session to your audience as structured page state instead of a video stream. Text stays crisp at any size, the view adapts to whatever device someone is watching on, and it holds up on the kind of wifi you actually get in a venue. This extension is the capture side. Install it, sign in to your Present Tense account, start a session, and pick the tab you want to share. Your audience opens a link and sees it. They do not install anything. What your audience sees is a read-only reconstruction of the page. It is a rendering of the content, not remote control of your browser. Nobody on the receiving end can click, type, or act inside your session. Nothing is captured until you start sharing a tab, and capture stops when you end the session or stop sharing. The extension only reads the tab you have explicitly chosen to present. A Present Tense account is required. Present Tense is currently in beta at present-tense.io.
