X & Twitter Article TOC
Overview
Add a floating table of contents and save useful excerpts while reading X/Twitter long-form articles.
X/Twitter Article TOC makes long-form posts on X.com and Twitter.com easier to read, navigate, and save. It automatically detects article structure, generates a table of contents, and lets you keep the navigation panel available while reading. You can also save selected passages as excerpts and export them later to Markdown or JSON for use in tools like Obsidian, Notion, or other personal knowledge bases. Features: Automatic Table of Contents Detects headings in supported long-form articles and builds a readable article outline. Floating Reading Panel Pin the table of contents to the page so it stays visible while you scroll. Drag-to-Move Move the floating panel anywhere on the screen to fit your reading layout. Position Persistence Remembers your preferred panel position across reading sessions. Dark Mode Support Matches X/Twitter’s light and dark themes automatically. Article Title Entry Includes the article title as the first item in the table of contents. Save Excerpts Select useful text while reading and save it to the extension for later reference. Export Saved Excerpts Export saved excerpts as Markdown or JSON, making them easy to move into Obsidian, Notion, or other knowledge workflows. How to use: Visit a long-form article on X.com or Twitter.com. Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar. View the generated table of contents in the popup. Click the pin icon to show the floating panel on the page. Drag the panel to reposition it. Select text in the article and save it as an excerpt. Open the Options page to review, export, or delete saved excerpts.
