Native Federation DevTools
Overview
Read-only DevTools panel for inspecting Native Federation applications.
Native Federation DevTools adds a "Native Federation" tab to Chrome DevTools and explains what your micro frontends actually negotiated at startup. The negotiation happens once and then disappears into the import map. This panel reads it back out of the running page: PACKAGES — the negotiation per package: every candidate version, who declared which range, which file actually serves it. Conflicts are called out, not averaged away. REMOTES — each participant from its own point of view: what it exposes, what it declares, and where every dependency really resolves. GRAPH — remotes, dependency copies and chunks as one traceable picture. Hover to trace, click to filter. IMPORT MAP — the effective map, row by row, each entry attributed to its package, its provider and the chunk bundle that serves it. EXPORT JSON — freeze the whole snapshot to a file. Doubles as a reproducible bug report. READ-ONLY BY DESIGN No host permissions, no content scripts, no background page, no network requests. The panel reads the page through the standard DevTools API and never mutates it. URLs are stripped of credentials, query and fragment before they enter a snapshot. Nothing leaves your machine. REQUIREMENTS Requires the Native Federation v4 Orchestrator (@softarc/native-federation-orchestrator), which keeps its registry in the page. Applications on the classic v3 runtime do not expose that registry and show "No Native Federation detected".
