NanoChat is an AI assistant that lives in your browser's side panel. It uses Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano) to help you browse smarter — no cloud APIs, no API keys, no data leaving your machine. What it does: - Chat with AI about any webpage you're viewing - Agent mode: the AI can click, type, scroll, and navigate pages on your behalf - Attach images or screenshots to your messages - Full conversation history with search Key features: - 100% local AI — runs entirely in your browser via Chrome's Prompt API - Zero configuration — install and start chatting immediately - Privacy-first — your conversations and browsing data never leave your device - Works on any webpage Requirements: - Chrome 138+ - GPU: Strictly more than 4 GB of VRAM. - CPU: 16 GB of RAM or more and 4 CPU cores or more.
