Nametag turns the student names already on your PowerSchool and Canvas pages into a quiet reminder of everything you need to know about each student. This includes the name they actually go by, their accommodations, their allergies, and whatever you last jotted down. No new tab. No dashboard to keep open. It works right on the gradebook, roster, and SpeedGrader pages you already use. PRIVACY COMES FIRST Accommodation notes are protected student records, and Nametag is built around that: • Everything stays on your computer by default. The extension makes no network requests of its own, has no analytics, no accounts, and sends nothing to the developer or anyone else. • Cross-device sync is optional and off until you turn it on. When enabled, it uses Chrome's own built-in sync — appropriate on a district-managed Google Workspace account, not a personal Gmail. • It only reads names to display them. It never touches what you type into input fields, and it never records a student unless you deliberately do so.
