N.AI Utility Companion

Modular runtime for installing N.AI quality-of-life modules.

N.AI Utility Companion is a modular browser extension for Nectar that adds community-requested quality-of-life features through installable modules. The extension requires userScript to be enabled in your browsers Extensions page to function. It should automatically detect if it is disabled, and provide instructions on how to enable it quickly. Current Modules: • Smart Composer — Automatically saves message drafts per-conversation, active character counter, movable and resizable so it doesn't block the chat. • Persona Manager — Unfinished, planned to have features such as: Back-up Personas / Import Persona from back-up / Toggleable chat-specific persona edits. • Memories Manager — Loads all memories quickly, allows searching, sorting, editing of non-Custom memories, and keeps High Priority Memories at the top. • Exporter — Export your Chats, Memories, and current Conversation List, with customizable formatting / sorting. Currently Planned Modules: • Chat-Specific Generation settings — Automatically remembers things like V1/V2, AI Model (Orchid/Primrose/etc), Memories Enabled for each chat. • Custom Instructions and Memories automation — Automatically apply pre-defined Custom Instructions and Memories with the click of a button. • Chat Repositioner / Resizer — Adjust chat bubble position and width. • Custom Instruction Helper — Improve Custom Instructions suggestions and layout. • Characters/Fantasies Hider ("not interested") — Add a button to companions in Discover to hide the ones you aren't interested in. • Improved Companion Builder — Assist in creating more detailed and clear Companions and Fantasies, with a better defined structure for AI and User referencing. The extension is designed to run on supported Nectar pages and improve the in-browser experience without requiring a separate app. Core extension logic is packaged with the extension. When module access is enabled, the extension can connect to approved module repositories, download selected modules, and run them locally on supported Nectar pages. This project is currently focused on reliability, safe module delivery, and practical user-controlled improvements.
