Overview
Chases people for the documents and info you need, by email and WhatsApp.
Politely chases people by email until they send the document or info you need — and checks their reply actually answers the ask. Detailed description Stop babysitting your inbox waiting for someone to send that form, invoice, signature, or file. nag does the follow-up for you — politely, persistently, and only until the job's actually done. Open nag on any page (a client record, an order, an email thread, a portal) and it reads what you're looking at to understand who you're chasing and what for. A short back-and-forth pins down exactly what a satisfactory reply must contain, and then nag takes over. What it does • Drafts and sends clear, courteous follow-up emails on your behalf (Gmail or Outlook). • Knows when to stop. When a reply comes in, nag reads it — and any attachment — and checks it against your checklist. If it's satisfied, the chase ends. If it's not, it follows up for exactly what's still missing. • Gives the other person an easy way out: every chase includes a secure upload link, so they can drop the file straight in — no account, no digging through email. • Gives up gracefully after a limit you set, instead of nagging forever. You're in control Choose how hands-on you want to be, per chase: • Review each message before it sends • Draft only — nag writes, you send • Fully autonomous — nag handles the whole back-and-forth You can edit any draft, mark a requirement satisfied by hand, or stop a chase at any time. Bring your own AI key nag uses your own LLM provider key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint). You're never billed through us, and you choose the model. Built to be trustworthy • API keys and email tokens are encrypted at rest. • nag only reads a page when you ask it to, on that one tab. • External replies and uploads are treated as untrusted: dangerous file types are rejected, and content that tries to manipulate the assistant is flagged for your review rather than acted on. Good for Accountants chasing client documents, recruiters chasing references, ops teams chasing signed contracts, landlords chasing paperwork — anyone whose job includes the words "just following up." Note: chasing is currently email-only (Gmail and Outlook). A WhatsApp Business connection is supported in settings; WhatsApp sending is on the roadmap. Single-purpose description (Chrome asks for this) nag helps users get documents and information from other people by drafting, sending, and following up on outreach emails, and verifying the replies against the user's stated requirements. Permission justifications (Chrome review asks per permission) activeTab + scripting: to read the content of the page the user is actively viewing, only after they click to start a chase, so the request can be pre-filled with relevant names, addresses, and details from that page. storage: to store the user's login session locally. sidePanel: the chase chat and status timeline run in Chrome's side panel. Remote host (your backend): the extension talks to the nag backend to run the LLM conversation, send email, and track chase status.
