Trapfall
Overview
100 floors of lowfi trap platforming. Nothing is random — same trap, same place, every single run.
Trapfall is a lowfi 2D platformer about learning a level by dying in it. A hundred floors stand between you and the top. Each one takes well under a minute once you know the route — but you will not know the route. The floor line stops being a floor. A platform turns out to be painted air. Spikes come up out of the ground you already walked over. A block materialises in the middle of your jump. Portals sit there looking identical to one another: one kills you, one drops you back at the start, one is a genuine shortcut, and nothing about them tells you which is which. The one mercy is that nothing is random. Every floor is generated from its own floor number, so floor 47 is the same floor 47 for you, tomorrow, and for everyone else. The trap that got you is in exactly the same place next run. Dying is how you read the map. FEATURES • 100 hand-composed floors, each built from authored trap patterns • Collect the shards on a floor to unlock its exit door • Vertical routes — drop into shafts, climb cliff faces, start and finish on different levels of the world • Seven colour zones, fifteen floors each • Snappy, precise platforming: coyote time, jump buffering, variable jump height • Floor select, per-floor best times, and a lifetime death counter • A "reveal traps" button that unlocks after ten deaths on a floor, if you want it • Works fully offline. No account, no network, no ads.
