Research Helper Pup

A draggable research companion that checks search-result links and saves selected passages to a local notebook.

Meet Research Helper Pup, your draggable research companion. After you enable its research features, it checks up to 12 destination URLs on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo results pages for warning signs. On other pages, hover over a link to check its destination. Save text you select with the page title, URL, and time to a local notebook. Keep notes in Chrome or optionally connect a local .txt file. Use the pup’s options menu to mute or unmute its sounds. Page checks and notes are processed and stored on your device. The extension does not send this information to a server. It does not read your search query, result titles, or snippets, and it does not match results, scroll to them, or highlight them.
