N-tabs

A Chrome extension for tab management.

A Chrome extension that helps you keep your browser fast and organised by setting a maximum tab limit, that is enforced per window. N-Tabs warns you when the limit is reached, and automatically closes your least recently used tab when you then open a new tab. The cleared tabs can be restored whenever needed. Core features - Visual warning shown on the extension icon when tab limit is hit - Close the oldest tab (least recently "used") when tabs are opened beyond the tab limit - Reopen the latest closed tab when there's room - Manually search and restore any closed tab - Tab limit enforced per window - Pinned tabs are never closed or counted against the tab limit - Lightweight and fast Usage 1. Click the N-Tabs icon in your Chrome toolbar 2. Set your preferred maximum number of tabs 3. Toggle "Auto-Reopen Cleared Tabs" as needed 4. When you reach your tab limit: - N-Tabs will warn you when you're at the limit - Opening additional tabs will automatically clear the least recently used tab 5. Cleared tabs can be restored from the "Cleared Tabs" section 6. When you fall below the tab limit: - If enabled, N-Tabs will auto-reopen the latest closed tab
