mévoire — A home for what stays. A personal memory for your reading. mévoire keeps what caught your attention — pages, excerpts, terms, notes — and gives it back organised, readable and within reach, on desktop and phone. This extension is the front door. Your library lives at mevoire.com. ★ SAVE IN ONE CLICK • Toolbar button, ⌘⇧S (Ctrl+Shift+S) shortcut or right-click menu. • Save the page you are on, a link, a word to explore or the excerpt you selected. • Brings along the article text and the page description, so you can read later offline and see what it is about without opening the site. • Opens a small capture window already filled in: title, address, space, collection, tags and notes. Enter, and it is saved. ★ THREE GESTURES: ARRIVES, KEEP, THINK • Inbox — what arrives. Reading queue, “Continue reading” and quick capture of notes, links and excerpts. • Library — what you keep. Everything always visible, with filters by state, favourites, terms and excerpts, collections and spaces. • Notes — what you think. Free notes or notes linked to an article, on a board you arrange as you like. ★ TAGS AS FOLDERS • Write “reading/essays” and you get the folder reading with the subfolder essays. Every level stays a plain tag. • Side explorer with the tag tree and counts; clicking a folder shows everything inside it, subfolders included. • Add or remove tags on any card, or on a whole selection at once. ★ READ BETTER • Clean reader with the saved article text, reading progress and resume where you left off. • Search across titles, article text, excerpts, notes and tags — accent-insensitive, word-combining. • Visible or hidden: what you no longer want in view leaves the Library without being deleted, and search still finds it. • Finishing a reading is one gesture: read, read and delete, or back to read later. Everything with Undo. ★ ON YOUR PHONE TOO • mevoire.com installs as an app on iPhone and Android, tutorial included, and works offline. • With an account, the library syncs across devices. Without one, it stays in your browser only. ★ PRIVACY BY DESIGN • The extension stores no data and contacts no servers of its own: it hands the capture to mevoire.com, inside your browser. • No analytics, no ads, no remote code. • Export everything as JSON or Markdown whenever you want; import HTML bookmarks from any browser. ★ FROM MARKS TO MÉVOIRE • Marks is now called mévoire and the library moved to mevoire.com.
