MyTube Playlists
Overview
Save and play your own YouTube playlists without signing in.
Your own YouTube playlists — no login, no account. MyTube Playlists is an extension that lets you build and play YouTube playlists without signing in. It's made for people who prefer watching YouTube in Incognito mode, or who want to collect their favorite videos without leaving a trace on an account. ◼ Who is this for? • You mostly watch YouTube in Incognito mode • You want to manage playlists without a Google account • You want to collect music without messing up your algorithm recommendations ◼ Key Features ▸ One-Click Save Save the video you're watching to your default playlist with a single toolbar click, or the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S (Mac: ⌘+Shift+S). Already-saved videos are detected — no duplicates. Use the arrow next to the Save button to pick a different playlist. ▸ Multiple Playlists Work, workout, before bed… create as many as you like, and manage them freely: rename, delete, set a default, and reorder by dragging. ▸ Video Management Reorder by drag and drop, search by title or channel name, move videos to another playlist, or open them in a new tab. ▸ Continuous Playback Play a whole playlist or start from any video. Previous/next, shuffle, and repeat (all / one) are supported. Playback uses the native YouTube player, so everything you're used to — quality settings, captions, playback speed — works as usual, and videos that can't be played (deleted, private, or region-locked) are skipped automatically. ▸ Backup & Restore Export all your playlists to a JSON file and import them back anytime. ◼ Privacy • No servers. No account, no sign-up. • All data is stored only in your browser's local storage. • Nothing is ever collected or sent anywhere. ◼ Using It in Incognito Mode Open MyTube Playlists' details in the extensions page (chrome://extensions) and turn on "Allow in Incognito". Playlists are shared between regular and Incognito windows, and they persist even after you close the Incognito window. ◼ Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S (Mac: ⌘+Shift+S) — save the current video to your default playlist You can change it to any key you like at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
