MyHomeScout scores the location of a home from a listing page you have open. You get a 0–5 location score plus what to check (flood, noise, power lines, radon) and what is looking good — the same card as the full report. Coverage is California metros we actually map, including the Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles, and San Diego. What you can do • Click the toolbar icon on a listing detail page, then Rescan to read the address • Sign in to analyze that address — score, what to check, looking good • Add the address to Today, or keep a short compare list in this browser (up to 40) • Open 2–4 saved addresses in MyHomeScout Compare • Open the full report on myhomescout.com when you are ready • English and Chinese follow your Chrome language The extension does not add a panel to other websites, does not scan search-result lists, and does not copy listing price, beds, baths, or square footage. Privacy • Saved addresses stay in this browser until you click Compare or add them to Today • After you sign in via myhomescout.com/extension-auth, a short-lived session token is stored locally so the extension can call MyHomeScout analysis APIs • Compare and the full report open myhomescout.com with the selected addresses in the URL/hash so the web app can load them • Full policy: https://myhomescout.com/privacy Permissions • Active tab / scripting — when you click Rescan, read the visible address on the current listing detail page • Access to api.myhomescout.com / myhomescout.com — signed-in analysis and auth handoff • Storage — to keep your saved list, Today queue, and signed-in session locally
