My View Point is a Chrome extension that lets you save the exact places you want to revisit on web pages, ChatGPT / Gemini conversations, and YouTube videos as View Points. Regular bookmarks save pages. My View Point saves places inside pages, selected text, and YouTube playback positions. On web pages, select text and save it from the right-click menu. The saved spot is highlighted and shown as a View Point on the page and in the popup. Click a View Point to automatically jump back to the saved position. You can add notes, organize saved spots like headings, switch tabs, open saved pages, edit items, and delete View Points from the popup. On YouTube, you can save the current playback position as a View Point. Saved positions appear on the video progress bar and in the popup. Click a View Point to return to that playback position. Shortcut saving is also supported. Main features - Save selected text as a View Point - Highlight saved spots - Jump back from page-side View Points or markers - Manage saved pages and View Points from the popup - Add and edit notes - Delete View Points and edit page titles - Change page icons - Customize highlight color, text color, bold text, and text size - Works with ChatGPT and Gemini conversations - Save YouTube playback positions - Save from the right-click menu - Shortcut save for YouTube playback positions - Basic tutorial and YouTube tutorial Notes - My View Point does not work on some special pages, including the Chrome Web Store and Chrome settings pages. - If a website changes its text, layout, or loading behavior, saved positions may shift or may not be restored correctly. - Changes made by external services such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or YouTube may affect some features. - On YouTube, My View Point saves video playback positions, not normal text positions. - The Free plan is limited to 3 pages and 5 View Points per page. Customization features such as style changes and page icon changes are also limited. - Saved data is stored in Chrome storage. If you uninstall the extension, the saved data is removed.
