My Shortcuts replaces Chrome's default new tab with a clean, organized dashboard for your favorite websites. Create custom sections to group links by topic — work tools, social media, dev resources, or anything you need. Choose from ready-made templates (AI Tools, Developer, Productivity, and more) or build your own sections from scratch. Features: - Organize links into collapsible, drag-and-drop sections with emoji icons - Add the current page as a shortcut directly from the extension popup - View your most-visited sites automatically at the top of the dashboard - Search the web or fuzzy-search your saved shortcuts instantly - Pick a background from a curated gallery of 25 high-quality images or upload your own - Adjust overlay opacity for readability over any background - Toggle between light and dark themes (follows system preference) - Clock widget with time-of-day greetings and a daily motivational phrase (365 unique phrases — one for every day of the year) - Export and import your shortcuts for easy backup and device transfers - Full keyboard navigation with customizable shortcuts - Auto-fetches website favicons for easy visual recognition What's new in v1.3.0: - Redesigned settings panel with organized sections (Background, Clock & Greeting, Data Management) - Daily motivational phrases displayed alongside the clock greeting — a unique phrase for every day of the year - Default sections now include category icons (Work, Personal, Other) for quick visual identification - Modern card-based section layout with outlined borders and glass morphism over backgrounds - Streamlined top bar with logo on the left and controls on the right, fades on scroll for a distraction-free experience All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. No accounts, no tracking, no data sent to external servers. Your shortcuts sync across Chrome browsers when you are signed in to Chrome. Privacy: the only network requests are favicon images from DuckDuckGo's public icon service and background photos from Unsplash's image CDN. No user-identifying information is included in these requests.
