Overview

Inspect, filter, flatten, and export Adobe Web SDK and Classic Analytics requests across tabs or in DevTools.

# My Analytics Debugger My Analytics Debugger (MAD) is a Chrome and Microsoft Edge developer tool for inspecting Adobe Analytics requests directly in the browser. It provides one organized view for Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK requests and Classic Adobe Analytics collection calls, helping developers, analysts, and implementation specialists validate analytics data without manually decoding every network request. MAD can run in a standalone multi-tab window or within DevTools. Choose Web SDK, Classic, or both request types from the toolbar. ## Standalone multi-tab capture - Open MAD from the browser toolbar and capture supported requests while moving between existing tabs or opening new ones. - Identify the originating tab through a badge on each request. - Capture only while the standalone MAD window is open. - Enable browser-wide request access only after reviewing an optional permission explanation. - Choose **Use DevTools instead** and continue with the DevTools panel without granting optional multi-tab access. - Remove previously granted multi-tab access from MAD's settings. ## Web SDK inspection - Inspect XDM and Data payloads from Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK requests. - View payloads as an expandable nested structure or a flattened path-and-value table. - Optionally remember every nested section's expansion state across requests and browser sessions. - Hide empty fields by default or display them when needed. - Customize page and link request titles and colors. ## Classic Adobe Analytics inspection - Inspect Classic Adobe Analytics image requests, including page views and link-tracking calls. - Translate abbreviated collection parameters into familiar names, such as props and eVars. - Organize values into Page Details, Events and Commerce, Traffic Variables, Conversion Variables, Other Parameters, and Identity sections. - Break the Classic products string into readable product attributes, product-specific events, and merchandising variables while retaining the raw transmitted value. - Keep Classic section expansion choices, including individual product groups, synchronized across requests when remembered section states are enabled. - Customize Classic page and link request titles and colors. ## Filtering and workflow tools - Search request fields using text or regular expressions. - Select fields visually and either filter the view or highlight matching fields. - Preserve selected field filters and highlights across MAD sessions. - Flatten request structures into consistent two-column tables with resizable key columns. - Expand or collapse requests and sections. - Reverse request order or clear the current request view. - Export captured debugging information for further review. - Choose light or dark display modes and customize font, size, and line spacing. ## Privacy and permissions MAD processes supported analytics requests locally within the browser. It does not transmit request data, browsing activity, or extension usage to an external server. The extension uses local browser storage only to retain display settings, filters, highlights, and related preferences. Standalone multi-tab capture requests optional read-only website request access only when the user enables it, and that access can be removed from MAD's settings. It contains no advertising, tracking, or remote telemetry. ## Important usage note Adobe Web SDK or Classic Adobe Analytics must be present and actively sending supported requests. In standalone mode, keep the MAD window open while reproducing activity. In DevTools mode, open DevTools before the activity; if it occurred earlier, reload the page or reproduce the interaction. My Analytics Debugger is an independent developer tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adobe Inc.
