Muze AI links your Chrome browser to Claude and other AI clients over MCP (Model Context Protocol). Instead of copying and pasting, the assistant can read pages, manage your tabs, fill forms, take screenshots, and run multi-step workflows — and it can never act without the permissions you grant. YOU STAY IN CONTROL - Granular, per-category permissions you enable from the side panel. - Read-only tools can run automatically; anything that changes your browser, sends data, or is hard to undo requires your explicit, one-time approval for that exact action. - Approvals are requested inside your AI client (and mirrored in the dashboard), so you always see exactly what is about to happen. - A one-click kill switch and a live audit log put you in charge instantly. - Sensitive tools (cookies, stored passwords) are never exposed to the model. WHAT YOUR ASSISTANT CAN DO (80+ TOOLS) - Tabs & windows — list, search, create, group, pin, move, close, and organize windows. - Navigation — open URLs, back/forward, reload, search, and wait for pages to load. - Read & extract — page text, outlines, metadata, links, tables, selected text, and structured extracts. - Forms — inspect, fill, preview, and submit (review-first workflows never auto-submit). - Interaction — click, type, hover, scroll, drag, select, check, and keyboard input. - Screenshots — viewport, element, and visible-area captures. - Bookmarks, history & downloads — search and manage them when you enable those permissions. - Clipboard — read and write the clipboard on request. - Developer diagnostics — console logs, page errors, DOM inspection, and performance data. - Workflows — gather page briefs, compare tabs, extract tables, collect links, fill forms for review, and organize tabs by topic. SIMPLE TO SET UP 1. Install Muze AI. 2. Sign in once to link the extension to your account — your token is shared between the website and the extension. 3. Add the MCP URL to your AI client (e.g., Claude) and authorize it with your token. 4. That's it. Toggle which tool groups the assistant may use, and approve actions as they come. BUILT ON OPEN STANDARDS Powered by MCP, so it works with Claude and any MCP-compatible client. Requires no account outside Muze AI, and the extension has a single, clear purpose: let an AI assistant operate your browser under your permission. YOUR PRIVACY Muze AI only acts when you (or the assistant you connected) requests a tool, and tool results are returned solely to the AI client you connected. We do not sell your data. --- Single purpose (Privacy tab): Muze AI has one purpose: to let a user-approved AI assistant (via MCP) read and control the user's browser through a set of permissioned tools, where sensitive or high-impact actions require explicit, one-time user approval. Permission justifications (Privacy tab): - tabs, tabGroups, windows — list and manage tabs/windows, the core of the tools. - scripting + <all_urls> — read page content and interact with DOM elements on the tab the user is working with. - storage — store your policy settings and sign-in token locally. - bookmarks, history, downloads — optional tool groups you enable. - clipboardRead / clipboardWrite — clipboard tools you enable. - offscreen — performs clipboard and image-crop work off the UI thread. - sidePanel — the dashboard UI where you manage permissions and approvals. - identity — sign-in via the browser popup. - alarms — keeps the connection to your browser alive so tools work reliably.
