Mute Tab

This extension offers full control over muting and unmuting browser tabs. The extension uses a nonpersistent background script which means it does not use any resource unless it is actually being used by the user. This extension can toggle muting of the currently active tab, tabs in the current window, tabs in other windows and all tabs except the active one. The extension's controls can be accessed from the toolbar popup or by defining custom keyboard shortcuts if you prefer so. All supported actions for muting and unmuting tabs are accessible by custom keyboard shortcuts. Note that this extension does not support defining custom rules to mute for instance specified hostnames since your browser already has this functionality and there is no need for that.
