MusicOut
Overview
Removes instrumental music from YouTube and keeps the voices. Runs on your device; silent rather than musical if anything fails.
MusicOut takes the instrumental music out of YouTube videos and keeps the voices: the speaker, the teacher, the nasheed singer. It's for Muslims who'd rather practice their religion without the extra beats, and for families who want cartoons, lessons and stories without the instruments. YouTube downloads a video's sound a minute or two before you hear it. MusicOut cleans it in that gap, so the voices stay in sync with the lips. • Works on every YouTube video, including embedded ones • Voices and singing stay; instruments go • Silence if anything goes wrong, never the music • Optional PIN so only a parent can switch it off • Nothing leaves your computer: no account, no uploads, no analytics It's quiet for a couple of seconds after a video starts or you skip. At speeds other than 1× you'll hear silence for now. Free, made by Waraway. It started from NoMusic, an open-source project. Uses Spleeter (Deezer) and ONNX Runtime (Microsoft), both MIT-licensed.
