A powerful translator that's easy to use. Select any word on a web page and see what it means in a yellow bubble, with the whole sentence for context. Translate a full page in one click. Brand names keep their spelling. Press the speaker to hear it in a clear, natural voice, in any language. Free, private, and it works offline. TRANSLATE AS YOU READ - Select text, or double-click a word. The bubble opens right next to it. - Single words also show the whole sentence they're in, so you see which meaning is meant. - Or select text, right-click, and choose mTranslate. - Names stay as they are: people's names and brands like Apple are not translated. - Simplified and Traditional Chinese are changed character by character, so the meaning stays the same. - Press the mTranslate icon in the toolbar to type or paste text, or open the full translator in a tab. HEAR IT - Press the speaker to hear the text or the translation. It pulses while it reads. - Chinese can be read in Cantonese or Mandarin. - Uses the voices on your computer. SET IT UP YOUR WAY - Choose your language. The bubble uses it for its own words too. - Text size: small, medium, large or extra large. - When you select text: Smart (a double-clicked word shows the translation, more text shows a small icon first), the translation right away, a small icon first, or nothing. WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET - Uses Chrome's built-in translation, on your computer. - Once your languages are downloaded, it works offline. Download any other language in Settings.
