MRU Tab Switcher
Overview
Switch between your recently used tabs with a visual list. Hold the key, tap to go back further, release to switch.
Switch between your recently used tabs, in the order you used them. HOW TO USE - Hold Alt (Control on Mac) and tap Q: a list of your recent tabs appears. - Keep holding and tap Q again to go further back. Add Shift to go back up. - Release the key to switch to the highlighted tab. - Arrow keys and the mouse work too. Delete closes the highlighted tab. Esc cancels. - A quick tap jumps straight back to your previous tab. FEATURES - Most-recently-used order, so your last tab is always one tap away. - Optional tab previews: screenshots of each tab in a grid. - Optional: include tabs from all your windows. - Light and dark mode. - Works on top of pop-up dialogs and full-screen video. PREFER CONTROL+TAB? Chrome's shortcut settings don't accept Control+Tab, but the extension's settings page has a short guide to set it up. PRIVACY No data is collected. Everything stays in your browser. NOTE: Chrome doesn't allow extensions to draw on its own pages (New Tab, Settings, Chrome Web Store). There, the shortcut switches straight to your previous tab without showing the list.
