Overview

Full page screenshot in one pass, no seams. Capture any screen width, edit it, and export PNG, JPEG, PDF or SVG.

Most full-page screenshot tools scroll down your page, photograph each screenful, and glue the pieces together. Between two of those frames the page keeps living: a carousel advances, a sticky header re-pins, a lazy image finally loads, a counter ticks. What you get back is a hairline seam where the two halves no longer agree. Uncut renders the entire page in a single pass instead. There is no second frame, so there is nothing to align and nothing to tear. EVERY FEATURE IS FREE Every capture, every editing tool, PNG and JPEG export and copy to clipboard are free and unlimited, with no account. A handful of heavier jobs cost one credit each, and you get 5 credits every 3 days, refilled on their own. Uncut Pro only removes that limit. TWO ENGINES, AND YOU CHOOSE One render (default) draws the whole page off-screen in one pass through the DevTools protocol. Nothing is scrolled, so nothing can move mid-capture. Sharper text, no seams, at any page height. Chrome shows a yellow "started debugging this browser" banner while it runs; that banner is Chrome's, it cannot be hidden, and it disappears the moment the capture finishes. Scroll and stitch is the classic method, for the pages where the first one cannot help. Uncut freezes sticky headers and pauses animations first, so the joins land where they should. If a render ever comes back with a repeated band instead of a real page, Uncut detects it, throws it away, and captures again with the other engine automatically. You get a correct image rather than a broken one that merely looks finished. WHAT YOU CAN CAPTURE The whole page, top to bottom, however tall it is. The screen, exactly as you see it, in one click. Or snip: the screen freezes and you drag a box around the part you want. The screen in 4K. The same screen redrawn by Chrome at 3840 pixels wide, so text and icons are genuinely sharp rather than stretched. Every 4K shot is checked against your screen before you see it. Just a region: drag a band down the page, or point at one element and click it. You get that part at full height, including whatever is scrolled off-screen. A scrolling panel inside a page, downward or sideways: a chat, a sidebar list, a long dialog, a row of product cards. Every panel that scrolls that way lights up, you click one, and Uncut reaches inside it rather than photographing the window around it. Every screen size at once. Uncut re-renders the same page at phone, tablet and desktop widths in a single run and composes them into one labelled sheet, at real relative widths. Each width is also kept on its own tab, so you can edit and export the phone shot alone without capturing anything twice. A basket of shots. Collect screens and snips as you click through a flow, then open them together as one sheet. Start any of them from the toolbar, a keyboard shortcut, or the right-click menu. A built-in guide explains every button. THE RESULT IS AN EDITOR, NOT A PREVIEW Crop to what matters. Trim a band off the top or the bottom, or cut one out of the middle and close the gap. Blur a client name or an email out of the pixels before you share it. Highlight one area and dim everything else. Resize a huge capture down to something sendable. Draw arrows, lines, boxes, circles, numbered steps and text labels. Every mark stays movable until you apply it, and undo gives them back if you change your mind. Polish turns a screenshot into a slide: rounded corners, padding, a backdrop that can take its colour from your own shot, a drop shadow and a browser frame, with presets. The preview is free. Undo steps back through all of it, and reset brings the original capture back in one click. WHAT YOU GET Export as PNG or JPEG, or copy straight to the clipboard. PDF and SVG as well. View at 1:1 to judge real sharpness, instead of a preview shrunk to fit. Light and dark, following your system or your own choice. Sticky bars frozen and scroll effects paused, then every change undone. A warning when a page exceeds the browser's image limit, rather than a silently truncated file. The same goes for a capture that came back mostly blank, repeated a band, or photographed a cookie wall instead of the page. No account, no sign-up, no server. FREE, AND PRO Free, unlimited, forever: whole-page, screen, snip, 4K and region capture, the entire editor including drawing and Polish's live preview, and PNG and JPEG export and copy. One credit each: capturing a scrolling panel, re-shooting a page at several widths, applying Polish, exporting PDF or SVG, saving each width as its own file, and opening a basket. The free tier gets 5 credits every 3 days. They refill on their own, and a credit is only ever spent on a capture that actually worked. Uncut Pro removes the credit limit for good. One key, pasted into the extension. No account, no sign-in, no subscription. PRIVACY Your screenshot is made on your computer and stays there until you save it. No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party code of any kind, and no server of ours anywhere. The extension has no standing access to any site; it can read a page only in the moment you click it, on that one tab. Uncut makes exactly one kind of network request, and only if you buy Pro: it sends your licence key to Gumroad to ask whether it is genuine, and repeats that check about once a week so a refunded licence stops working. The key is the only thing transmitted. No image, no page address, no email, no identifier. If you never buy Pro, Uncut makes no network requests at all. You do not have to take that on faith. There is no bundler and no minification - unpack the extension folder and read it. Six files, and one fetch call in the whole thing.
