Add the SendPulse extension to Chrome. Log in to your SendPulse account, open Settings → API → API keys and create a key (or use your REST API ID and Secret from Settings → API → Credentials). Open Gmail and any email — the SendPulse icon appears in the right sidebar. Paste your key into the panel and click Connect. The panel lists everyone in the conversation: sender, recipients and CC. People who aren't in SendPulse yet are already selected. Check the first and last name and the details found in the signature; edit them if necessary. Choose the list for import and click "Add to SendPulse". 🎉 Voila! All of the chosen people are now in your SendPulse list. ✨ What else it can do • Shows the SendPulse status of every participant: which lists they are in, or "Not in SendPulse yet" • Takes the name from the email header — or from the signature when the header only shows an address • Finds phone, company, job title, website and LinkedIn profile in the sender's signature (signatures in 8 languages) • "Find" button opens LinkedIn's people search for the contact in a new tab • Maps fields to your list's variables automatically (firstName, Name, Company, Phone…) and remembers your choice for each list • Skips noreply and notification senders, converts phone numbers to international format • Settings open right in the Gmail panel or in a popup from the extension icon • Interface in 8 languages Useful for anyone who keeps contacts in SendPulse: sales, marketing, recruiting, freelancing or event organizing. There are many great CRM solutions on the market, but why pay more if all you need is to get your contacts into SendPulse? :) 🔒 Privacy • Your API key is stored only in your browser's extension storage and is never shown to Gmail's page. • Your data goes only to the official SendPulse API (api.sendpulse.com). No servers of ours in between, no analytics, no ads. The Gmail integration library (InboxSDK) may send anonymous technical error reports to its developer. • Email content is read locally, only to find names and contact details in the open conversation. • When you open an email, the participants' addresses are looked up in your SendPulse account to show their status. Names and details are saved to SendPulse only when you click "Add". • No more Facebook access: the old Facebook name lookup has been removed.
